annual fest

Yugaantar

Yugaantar

Our first big inter-college event, and the first time we wrote the problems instead of solving them. Three contests, each with its own format, so there was a way in whether you were chasing a rank or writing your first contest. Every one opened with online prelims, and the top finishers came back for offline finals.

icpc-style contest

RETRACK

RETRACK

Our first flagship event, and the one we went all in on. A proper ICPC-style contest: teams fought through online prelims, and the ones who made it came to campus for the finale. It was also the first time we ran something this big end to end, and it taught us more than entering one ever did.

Then everyone stayed back for a panel of ICPC World and Asia West finalists, which turned out to be the part people kept talking about afterwards.

techfest

Ascent

Ascent

Our college's techfest, and our biggest turnout so far. Two contests: one you write alone, one you write with a team behind you. Both started online and finished on campus. By this one, running a contest had stopped feeling like a scramble.
